Finally Struck Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Finally Struck

Rating: 5.0

"No one is perfect"
Reiteration of universal fact
Solid reason for excuses
When some one wants to refuse

It was in past
And now in present too
Same tactics
With no basic

Take no cover
For any excuses however
Say politely about acceptance
If any mistake has come to light at once

It is great to be part
Then to depart
With arrogance
As missed chance

No one shall praise
Any kind of mad chase
If that lacks basic courtesy
One can only feel pity

One should not wait
For acceptance of fate
It is as good as compromising with luck
When you are finally struck
