Financial Harmageddon! Poem by Denis Martindale

Behind the scenes and politics, behind closed doors as well,
The devil uses all his tricks so humans go to Hell.
If God permits free will to thrive, then humans play their parts,
That's why some humans won't survive because of broken hearts.
Love of money will lead to greed, that no-one can deny,
With selfish love the only need while other humans die.
No wonder Jesus warns us all with solemn prophecies,
Of worldly systems that must fall with humans on their knees.

Can Mankind govern troubled times if God's Word gets ignored?
With rumoured wars, increasing crimes, and judgements then outpoured?
Is there no other way to save the unrepentant souls?
Except to change how they behave when cash has no controls?
A billion pounds, a trillion pounds, the debts keep mounting high,
Though sin abounds, God's grace abounds, yet prophecies don't lie.
Who's gonna save the world? we ask, but tough times lie ahead,
God tells believers, There's one task, share all the Saviour said!
