Finch and Keele

Toronto from long was based on nucleus
-with patches here, there
-with mill, church, graveyard, as village
-each had name…

Though great the centre
-can be seen full of shame
-include 999 on Queen
-the crimes make me feel
-embarrassed, very sick…
-racism…sexism…brutal…

Though city has grown wide and long
-and is an example well alive to define
-cosmopolitan all around
-Toronto is still a centre with patches
-scattered in her sides…

If talk of Finch and Jane
-Harlem comes into mind
-if Dixie-Kipling, Somalia
-Victoria Park on east Finch
-is home to plenty Bengalis,
-Pakistan, Afghanis

Finch and Keele is hardly comes into light
-is in shade so remains great source
-for films and scripts, stories
-and poem…

Normally, love and hate stories
-the secret and suspense, mysteries
-the loss in war and peace, victories
-the trunk and branch, body of history
-take form and become shaped, creative
-if less seen and hidden in vase as treasure
-and this is the base of Finch and keele…
-most of the immigrants, refugees,
-wanting work right away of friends, enemies
