Fire On The Mountain Poem by SylvaOnyema (SUPER.T) Ubah

Fire On The Mountain

Flames flying in the air
Flying like dissolved red kites

Blowing hot breeze
Into the body
Blowing black dust
Into the eyes

Tall fire
Traveling far
Traveling fast

Burning uncontrollably
Like a state of anarchy

People run
Front and back
Back and front
And back again
Confused in the flame
Begging for a state of emergency

Happy flames are laughing
Flaming here
Flaming there
Flaming everywhere
It is a city of flames!

Flames walk
Like the sound of earthquake

Waiting
Waiting
Waiting for firemen
To fight
With the cooling ice of fire

Fire On The Mountain

This poem reminds me of one of my poems: Fire of Love. Fire on the mountain, that can be deadly like in California, USA

Waiting Waiting... This shows a state of negligence. People abandon their jobs especially when it matters most.
