Firm Hand Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Firm Hand

Firm hand

You did not rise in rebellion
So it needed revolution
There was no confusion
Only you remained with indecision

The Syrian dictator kept under heel
Entire population at will
Cruelly ruled for decades
They were almost inactive and remained dead

The dictator ruled ruthlessly
The fanatics thought to act deadly
They took reign under control
But severely fall on people

So much cruelty was never seen
For taking country back to old scene
With ideology so ancient
And imposition so irritant

With firm hand offered
They are now run or have been killed
The trail and rule might disappear soon
For people to rejoice and enjoy in new born nation
