Firmly Drive Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Firmly Drive

Love stands for sacrifice” she utters
“Promise love first” I inquire
She is not sure of an easy score
I still speak to her and adore

No one thinks like that
It is not curse or fate
You might have suffered a lot
But love is always sought

I try to be near
To allay fears
But the story is put on gear
I want to hear more

She is not easy pry
But I try
Put my cards well
And forcefully tell

You got to chose
And repose
Trust in love
And believe too

She must stand
And understand
What do I meant by love?
Then I shall firmly drive
