First - Poem by Warren Augustus de Guzman
Nothing is as sweet as a lover's first kiss.
Not the chocolate on Christmas day.
Not the fresh grapes of harvest day.
Not the cream on apple pie.
Not the filling of pumpkin pie.
Not the taste of red red wine.
Not the cream puffs so fine.
Not the cranberry sauce on turkey.
Not the breakfast cereal soup so murky.
Not the champagne of new year’s toast.
Not the sweet gravy of beef roast.
Nothing is a sweet as a lover’s first kiss.
