Fisherboy - Poem by Philo Yan

Fisherboy with his casting net,
Catches fish to sell in the market.
His daily catch he sometimes get,
A basketful, sunny weather let,
Or if it rains, he has to pack
Life of a fisherboy is tough, Jack.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I depicted a boy using a cast net which he threw in mid-air opening out into a huge circle. He is wearing a hat and standing on a bamboo raft.
