Flame Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

It's a beautiful flame,
I stare at it in amazement
For a long time,
I see only refined beauty in it,
Indeed it's a great feeling for me,
After a while I realise
Someone says to me from the inner realm of the lovely flame,
"Remember I am ugly too,
Being angry,
I can destroy anything at ease."
When I say to him that
I don't believe it,
Immediately he replies,
"You are truly a sublime poet, my friend! "
