Could it be?
That you and I were always meant to be?

If it's true,
That you are mine, and I for you,
Don't let them intrude!
Nothing matters, nothing but our truth!

Could it be?
All those mistakes, all of the pain,
all of the doubts, were never in vain?

Then this love we feel, this ache from our past,
let's patch it all up and pray that it last!

Can it be?
That you and I will forever be?
