It's Over - Poem by Margarita CortesBorrero

As if life depended on it
I'm swaying back and forth
Heart pounding out my breast
Just no time to rest
Still in disbelief
There's simply no relief
Things are not anything like what they used to be

Profound poem, to the point about reality, I am in agreement, things are not like they use to be. Keep writing, it's a 10 (Report) Reply

This is beautiful and sad too and though all things in this life are destined to end one way or another new and better hopes and beginnings can come to things and grow like relationships, friendships and the like so I see hope here too. Very nice piece my friend. (Report) Reply
