Fleeing From Feelings Poem by Preston James

Fleeing From Feelings

Rating: 5.0

I watch him walk down the hall.
I'll say a friendly hello.
Still harboring that crush.
But if he returns the feelings,
that's no good,
I shy away and find another,
one that has a chance of liking me.
But when he does,
well that's too bad.
I don't do relationships,
Too afraid of rejection.
Of being laughed at,
or broken,
for having such
a fragile heart.
