Floating Clouds Poem by Ziyanda KUBONI

Floating Clouds

When I look up at the skies.

My soul cries.

I am saddened by your demise,

but also I know you are at peace.

Surrounded by the wise.

I am at ease.

I see the cotton clouds

They clear my doubts

I know you have become a fluffy floating cloud.

I wonder if you knew just how much I loved you.

I know you loved me too.

Now I just send you flying kisses,

Hoping that is exactly what your heart misses.

Now whenever I look up at the sky.

I will always think of you as a floating cloud.

Pure like an angel.

Lighting up my darkest of days like a candle.
