Wrapped up in a fantasy,
An intoxication akin to Hennessy.
He caught my eye;
Instantly, I was drawn,
Like the break of dawn.
He shines his light on me.
Just like me,
He is good with words.
He lets them dance and chirp like birds.
However, his eyes
Are yet to unfold their truth.
I search for his veracity like a sleuth,
Leaving no stone unturned.
I long to solve this mystery.
Perhaps we could make history.
Oh, Mystery Man,
You are a book I yearn to read.
You could become my creed.
Make me commit sin,
Devour your chocolate skin.
We are strangers,
But maybe not for long.
You are like a new song,
Whose lyrics are foreign,
Yet somehow sound familiar.
Mr. Stranger,
You have become my muse.
This fire of curiosity—
Only you can diffuse.
