Floating On Barges: (L'isle Sur La Sorgue, Early August,2021)
O boats slip across
Bright blue waters from one bank
To another to
Answer the public's call!
A dance of colours
And scents awaits the boatmen:
Bouquets of flowers,
Cheese, wine and bread. What delights!
I have enjoyed this lovely place near the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful place of choice of the scene. Perfect background for the poem. Thank you for sharing, Dominic.
