Deep into the night
cries of children rent
the air screaming for
food that constantly
fades away as the
wails of women warring
worries drowns the loud
silence of the dark that
deafens the already
defeated if not dead
people so poor and
petrified to even perceive
hope or least conceive
care but cruelty and curses
curved out for them by
mother nature of nonentities.
