Flowers Are Sleeping
 Poem by Ronald Chapman

Flowers Are Sleeping

Could it be possible,
Love is true,
On a cold December day?

Without flowers blooming,
Can't tell if impossible love, is true.
0
Flowers are sleeping,
Waiting for our hearts; to see spring.

Cold, lonely winds blowing me towards you,
Dawn is taking forever to come.
Spending these unpleasant winters without love,
Are so long.

Yet!
On a sunny day in December,
Snow falls upon your bright smile,

As you look at me,
I see a sparkling Angel smiling at me.

Warming my Soul,
On a cold winter's day.
