I watch the flowers in the vase
Small faces of the children
Staring at me with their raw innocence
Spreading their charm
Inside the room
Clearing gloomy air of losses and defeats
Charging the air with freshness and fragrances
I watch the flowers in the vase
Plucked in the early morning
Still wet to the touch
Dew drenched and with silky petals
Wish I could be one of them
Charm and innocence do draw us to children and flowers. But time never allows them remain in the charm for ever
