Flowing Beauty Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Flowing Beauty

Iceland's an island
Of volcanic sand
Abounds in beauty
With many facets.

Wide stretches
Of open land
Mighty mountains
And perennial streams.

Water falls fall
In a variety of forms
Some short and some tall
Every one quite so graceful.

Skogafoss we pass
In broad daylight
It's wide and tall
Showing its power.

Seljalandsfoss also in south
We reach it by night
Tall and elegant
We can go behind.

Hraunfossar's lava falls
Seeping through rocks
In pure white foamy hiss
Opens its thousand hoods.

Gulfoss fall, another beauty
Is delightful and mighty
As the shining star
Of the golden circle.

There are many more falls
In north, west and east
They beckon us to visit
And appreciate the elegance.
