Flute Of Life Poem by Eden Verse

Flute Of Life

Flute of life sing, sing in winter
Sing of scented days of summer
Sing thou flute! sing midst of Autumn
Songs of larks and wrens and seagulls
Songs of funerals, songs on timbral

Sing thou sing O midst of oceans
Sing of boats who drowned on shores
Sing of forlorn birds and seagulls
Waves are dancing waves are churning
Some are aching, weeping burning
O Thou Lord, with seraph penal
Think of burning heart of fanal

Flute of life, sing songs of summer
Midst of foggy days of winter
Sing of hearts all leaden leaden
Sing of eyes who dreams are shattered
Walkst who with feet that bleedeth
Midst of withering leaves on channels

Souls are withering
Hearts are aching
But O life! Look!
We are walking

Flute of life, pipe midst of Winter
Songs of golden days of summer
