Flying Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Flying

Flying

I flew around the world today,
And 'she looked so happy',
Many did say.
I felt happy yes.

I flew around my mind today.
I couldn't say much about that,
Except in it's ambivalence,
Nothing could be done right.

I flew around on the playground today,
Taking the kids' seesaw away.
Here I saw no reason to reason,
About what happiness was.

Truly, our mind can take us to fly around the world and gain its immense pleasure
