I want to fly away
Far away from you
Whenever you look at me
Your face shows nothing but disappointment
I can see it in your eyes
The disdain that you feel for me
I am the failed child

I want to fly away
Far away from you
Everyday you remind me of my inferiority
Nothing I do is perfect
I am not perfect like you
I hate you like you hate me
With every fiber of our being

I want to fly away
Far away from you
The man I call father
I want to be free from you
