Foggy Morning Poem by soren Barrett

Foggy Morning

I'm off today, I can feel the sway, awakened from a hole
Out of the warm into a storm awaiting execution of the soul
Feeling a breeze that no one sees, dark skies
Move a foot, brush off the soot, wipe sleep from worried eyes
Take a breath, smell night's death, take in fragrance of new day
Cast off dream's disease, arise from your knees, condemned get a stay
Look to the sun, a new day's begun from your shadow walk away
Pull cloud covers of vision from your head, raise from the dead, leave yesterday
