Foli The Dried Mango Slices Are No More Now

once there was a time
when fallen mangoes were collected
the collected fallen mangoes were cut and sliced in thin pieces
then they were put on a mat to dry by the sun
to avoid rottenness turmeric powder was used in the mango slices
this thin dried mango slices were locally called foli
during the mangoeless time
foli was used in the gruel or other dishes to increase taste
uh when grand mother (mom's mother)was alive
she gave us to taste foli
she encouraged us to collect fallen mangoes
now it's not done
man is lazy
he like crazy chemical mixed jam jelly
but not natural dried mango slices foli
had she did it for me
the tasteful foli not a folly
