In life we wake the dream we made
To death we take our hearts to give
Leaving behind, a dream of now
For one, we yet must live
Sorrow cannot follow us
Beyond the boundary grave
We drift to sleep, and wake once more
Free from past life pain
Our hearts will sing sweet innocence
As age tallies years gone by
Sometimes sorrow will leave a mark
That tears clean when we cry
Still, all follow their hearts desire
Wherever life may lead
Perhaps we join them after death
To rise in a brand new dream
I sleep for now to rest my soul
In the darkness of the night
Missing her, My only love
I'll be with her tonight
Inside my dream, my heart will stay
With the comforts that I know
For from this dream I shall not wake
Death has taken me back home
