You have no idea
of all the pain I’ve felt,
No idea
of the number of tears I’ve shed.
You have no idea
of all the time I’ve wasted,
No idea
of what’s been lost.
And you have no idea
of how much I love you,
And all I’ve been through because of it.
You have no idea
of any of these,
because there’s no need for you to know,
it would have only caused you pain, unnecessary.
You have no idea
because I’ve hidden it all from you.
I have, and always will,
protect you.
You have no idea
Nor will you ever have one.
