Fool Poem by Jade Baker

Fool

Rating: 5.0

I held the torch for you,
Carried you when you were weak,
Comforted you when you couldn’t sleep,
You had all of me,
I would’ve laid my life down for you,
Because that’s what lovers do,
I held your hand when things got tough,
I picked you up when you’d had enough,
But now that I need you,
Now that I’m the one who’s weak,
You’re not here for me,
I have no and to hold,
No arms to hold me tight,
No voice to soothe me at night,
You said you weren’t strong enough,
To help me through,
Where are you now,
I was there for you,
Now I need you too
