Fooled Again Poem by Alona de Lara

Fooled Again

Rating: 5.0

I never knew
What I have done to you
The hurts I constantly feel
With your love that is so unreal

I had forgiven you once
And even gave you one more chance,
But why can't you live w/o lies?
That hurt you gave never dies.

I've been true to you
The love that I gave you
But you just fooled me,
Fooled me again.

An insightful piece depicting the devastating effect of lies in relationships, well articulated and nicely brought forth in good rhyme scheme from the heart. Thanks for sharing Alona de Lara.
