Fools Pray To Governments Poem by Terence George Craddock

Fools Pray To Governments

I doubt there a many fools
foolish enough to pray to governments
governments are in the tax taking game

governments take more than they give;

some pray to idols
some pray to money and credit cards
some pray to egos

or images in the mirror;

only true faith sustained
belief will bend the knees
lifetime pray for peace

prosperity miracles to their creator God
