Footsteps Of Fall Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Footsteps Of Fall

Spring breeze spring breeze
please be here,
I ask you, please
please be everywhere.
Times are calling
and night again is in,
leaves brown is falling
in drifty wind spin.

Love had its hours
when the time was sweet bright,
the darling of the flowers
joyful in the night.
All are now in unknown
footsteps of the fall,
when nature rust its gown
and winter again will call.

Spring breeze spring breeze
let you dance the leaves,
I ask you, please
from some eaves.
Winter is now humming
with its Icey flow,
Christal white blooming
in the winter snow.
