For A Better Tomorrow. Poem by Vin Ace

As we citizens gaze upon tomorrow's dawn,
We must reflect on the days behind us,
And ponder what our nation's future holds,
As destiny, its tale tomorrow unfolds.
For a better tomorrow, we all must rise,
To exercise our right to choose a guiding light.

To build a nation that again will be great,
We must avoid useless and divisive hate.
And exercise or hallowed and sacred right,
To choose a leader with truly clear sight.
We must vote with care, for in our hands future is.
And forget all sentiment, whether tribe or nought.

To break the cycle of lost and wasteful years,
Of futile tears and days piddled away,
We must take a stand to demand our education,
Be given without so much as an interruption or pause.
For this education is our right and our key,
Let's vote to build a nation that is strong and free.

For a better and brighter tomorrow's light,
We all must unite with all our might,
And build a land that is strong, fair and free,
Where hope and love are always there to see.
For the security and peace that we all seek,
For our lives and homes, for our future and peak.

So let's all work with our strength and might.
To build a nation that is truly great and grand.
For our future lies in the palms of our hands,
And we must shape the land to our demands.
Let all like soldiers arise with our arms and take back.
What was once and will be our nation, our land.
