Vin Ace Poems

The day falls apart to reveal the night,
So beautifully coloured and very alive.
The air, sound and light spots adorn the sky,
An opportunity to rest, to forgive and smile.
...

You left my soul pieced, on the floor.
My heart you squeezed, broke, and tore.
Without a care what to me you did,
You stabbed me deep that I did bleed.
...

Wake up a new day is upon us,
There's so much beauty to see everywhere.
The sun is beaming out marking the dawn,
And birds are chipping the song of the morn.
...

4.

Alone in the emerging stillness of the night.
I think of you and the love we once had.
The memories of our laughter and bodily embrace,
Linger in my heart and skin like a burning itch.
...

To you that facing those turmoils,
To you thinking all hope is lost,
To you striving to glimpse the light,
To you facing despair and lots of spite.
...

The curtains draw on the dimming past,
As times bygone, I leave behind,
New ideas and paths ahead for me to see,
As doors of the future open up to me.
...

A chorus of emptiness, a cacophony of hush,
A symphony of stillness making my world fall.
The harmony of nothingness brings me to tears,
The loud quietness echoes deep in my ears.
...

Dear God,
I'm waking up every day to my life in shambles,
Feeling lost and alone as I lose my might.
My heart is heavy, my soul in deep pain,
...

The battle horns have been blown,
A call to arms, a battle cast.
We march with purpose and hearts ablaze,
To make our voices heard, to turn the page.
...

As we citizens gaze upon tomorrow's dawn,
We must reflect on the days behind us,
And ponder what our nation's future holds,
As destiny, its tale tomorrow unfolds.
...

To this year that we toiled with all our might,
To the journeys and all our strides,
To the mistakes we made and didn't make,
To the problems we faced and overcame,
...

The city gate was wide open to receive.
The people were all out to proclaim.
The donkey and colt, ready to be ridden.
But this city knew not whom they perceived.
...

This day marks a new dawn.
The Transition from one age to more.
Lift yourself there's a new journey to start.
Look up, a new path to find.
...

In a sealed cave, my saviour lay,
Inside a stone-walled and guarded place,
Awaiting the time of his exultation,
The time for his eternal glorification.
...

Low within the grave, he lay,
Source of salvation sealed in a cave.
Guarded by men all of them armed,
A heavy stone to seal the mouth.
...

I stand for the right never the wrong.
I stand to say I will overcome.
I stand to ensure the right path, I take.
I stand to prove wrong those awaiting my deface.
...

Don't shed a tear when you're next to me,
Don't grieve or wail when you're by my side.
You are the only angel on top of my tree.
My Mrs Snow through the freezing breeze,
...

My bother don't stop, the journey is long.
Don't give up yet there's joy to come.
Feeble and weak though you may be,
Worn down and beaten your soul may be,
...

Is this me? Who really is this?
Who is this that I see before me?
Who is this person that I have become?
Who is this that these scores tell of?
...

Mundane it seems, the task you undertake,
Yet truly these ventures I cannot perpetuate.

Laying by me you rocked my bed,

Nyctophilia

The day falls apart to reveal the night,
So beautifully coloured and very alive.
The air, sound and light spots adorn the sky,
An opportunity to rest, to forgive and smile.
The thrill of late night talks, snacks and drives,
The excitement in the silence, all if better for hours.
As the night gets darker my worries fade,
With the songs of the dark, my heart drifts away.

Sitting and basking in the glory of the moon,
I realize a fact so irrefutable and very true.
The darkness appeals so much to me,
More than sun's light and the heat it exudes.
The night time is where word echo so loud,
Bringing forth a new and deeper sound.
The solemn glance of a shining moon,
Brings joy to me with an induced repose.

As the sky get painted deeper shades of blue,
I sit back to enjoy artistry so bewitching.
I look around reveling in natures dark beauty,
And gaze at the stars with my mind clear and free.
I love the silent and still hours of the night,
For blissful dreams from them do arise,
Revealing to my calmed sight, short and precise,
What may never bless my waking eyes.
