For a favour
Sunday,23rd May 2021

Can you give me?
peace of mind for free
I will sit under a tree
and listen to the melody

I have no desire
to accept offer
in terms of cash
and rush for

Did you ask me for a favour?
and offered
fruits and medicines
and felt fine

no, nothing of that sort
I had no intention to retort
but to report with a positive mind
I could appreciate the kind gesture

you had selfless feelings
for my well being
you were doing whatever was possible
after seeing me struggle

no good friend shall come forward
and offer solacing words
that too in the time of crisis
and insist on help for the friendship

I feel indebted
and never doubted
about your intention
it was a real help to a wonderful human
