For A Reason Poem by Santosh Misra

For A Reason

FOR A REASON

When in total distress
I strech my hands to beseech the blessings of God
Even my shadow
Leaves me alone totally abandoned
With visible weals of time
What if, my friends or foes escape.

My heart palpitates incessantly
With hurted emmotions
Wisdom ceases
I am compelled to make less supplication
But ponder more over
The intemperate attitude of those
Who deserted me for good
Of course for a reson.

True that
Everything happens for a reason,
Despite, I am yet to make out
If at all
I was due for a desolation.
