For Anne Frank Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

For Anne Frank

Rating: 5.0

You and the house where you stayed
are forever silent witnesses
of the suffering that you have suffered

Never again
will Prinsengracht number 236 be the same
by the horrors of a time
as you have described in your diary

Through hatred
and ruthless behavior of human failure
have you lost your young and innocent life
because you were a Jewish girl

Anne rest in peace
