My Hand - Poem by Mario,Lucien,Rene Odekerken

I offer you my hand
straight from the heart

A hand of surrender
to my feelings for you

A hand that always
will protect you

A hand that'll go
through fire for you

But it is also a hand
that's terrified
that your hand will let go

Topic(s) of this poem: love and pain

This is a smartest poem, BUT few would be aware of it, sure, read the last line and THINK. Thank you so much for this most beautiful and meaningful poem of LIFE. With the very best wishes, Sylvia Frances Chan, poetess, evangelist and world traveler. God´s Blessings in Abundance. NOTE: my comment for FORBIDDEN FRUIT was not placed, reason unknown. That was a very important response upon the poem, it looked like GOD did not wish that. (Report) Reply
