For I Shall Stand, As My True Self Wants
For I shall stand, as my true self wants
in the midst of crumbling society,
With my book, the Quran,
in the hands of my actions
bestowed to humankind from the creator.
Truth - Haqq - the guidance—
for the Godconscious
But, oh my people,
I am not one to read blindly the book!
I will seek divine intelligence—wisdom
so that the light shall shine tenfold
From the book unto us all
