For Meal Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

For Meal

For meal

Hunger is an appetite
And remains light
When no hard work is done
With little feeing, it is gradually gone

Hunger is normal process
That body has to face
Nourish the need and feed in time
That keeps body in tune

Normal exercise burns the food
This fact is clearly understood
The poor real hunger or starvation
Because of no funds for ration

They have to work in open
For family and children
With body toiling hard
To get reward

If you are unable to meet demand
The hunger reaches dead end
Compels man to do illegal work and try for meal
Sometimes he is forced to steal
