I some~times sit and wonder,
Why my soul~mate had to die.
He left me all alone down here,
While he has gone to fly.
With all the other Angels,
Up in Heaven above.
He left me all alone down here,
Alone, without his love.
But some~times I can feel him,
In the stillness of the night.
He's came and gave me comfort,
And shone a bit of light.
On my future here without him.
I'll find the strength to carry on.
I thank him for the years we shared,
Oh how I wish they weren't gone.
