For My Soul's Prize Poem by Ahatisham Alam

For My Soul's Prize

Although I want to atain sprictuality,
Yet I always find frivolity.
Everwidening thought sphere found nowhere.
Sought the company but was alone there.
Happiness is a word beyond my dream,
All is lost sometime, to me. it seem.

Show me the way straight.
And give me power to wait.
My Maker! Let me bow my head.
In Thy service before I am a dead.
