For The Younger Generation Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

For The Younger Generation

Be mindful of how fast
Time passes by your way
For things in life don't last
So with care, use each day.

Your skills and talents
They were meant for a reason,
Gifts that were heaven sent
In this journey you tread on.

Learn from the mistakes
That you'll surely encounter
But with each fall you make
Stand up to become better.

Choose your friends really well
As some may lead you astray,
Be honest and work well
And in all things, always pray.

Look ahead with sure Hope
And in God, keep your Faith,
Though in hardships you may grope
His reply's never late.

Above all honor parents
For His promise this commands,
Love the country where you're sent
It is still God-given land.
