For those who have not sipped the wine of love,
Life drifts unmoored upon the restless tide,
A withered leaf the autumn winds remove,
A nameless echo lost and cast aside.
They roam the streets like children left alone,
Each year a cloak that weighs upon the frame,
Yet never finding hearth nor knowing home,
Nor sensing warmth within love's sacred flame.
They've never touched the depths where truth resides,
Nor glimpsed the heights where souls in rapture soar,
Their hearts remain as chambers sealed inside,
Unshaken by the fire that shapes their core.
Like seeds that lie in silence, yet to wake,
They fear to crack, to rise, to break apart,
To greet the dawn, to let the sunlight take
The brittle shell once guarding fragile hearts.
But those who drink from love's enkindled cup
Are formed through longing, sorrow, joy, and light.
Through storm and flame, they rise and lift their trust,
Their roots grow deep, their branches stretch in might.
They hum with winds that whisper songs of old,
Their leaves embrace the hush of golden rays.
For love refines, exalts, transforms the soul,
Its guiding touch illumes the seeker's way.
