For Those With Social Phobia Poem by Francis Duggan

For Those With Social Phobia

Rating: 5.0

At parties and social gatherings they feel out of place
Such occasions for them a huge challenge to face
For those with social phobia how tough life must be
They are to be pitied would you not agree
Never feeling comfortable in the social crowd
Whilst others are laughing and talking out loud
The one with social phobia by silence is bound
Never comfortable with so many strangers of her or of him all around
Of being shy and over sensitive they do appear
And even the thought of being present at social gatherings they fear
They find it a struggle for to make a friend
When they say that they do not like parties they do not pretend
One for them only can feel sympathy
Of their social phobia they will never be free.
