Take away the moon, take away the sun
I betrayed all I love,
For you I gave it all away
Take away the night, take away the light
I betrayed all I love
For you, I gave it all away
And now I walk in shadows, and bad company
A ghost who haunts the seedy alley ways, and corridors of slum city streets
I watch love, and reflect on what should have been
And cry, for life without love, is incomplete (keeps me incomplete)
Take away the rain, take away all hope
I betrayed all I love
For you, I gave it all away
Take away the stars, and the world beyond
I betrayed all I love
For you, I gave it all away
