For You I Sigh…for You Dear Only!



We make love
body & soul

to

BODY & SOUL

our bodies
a saxophone

taking the melody line

curling it like cigarette smoke
around midnight

as it lingers over
the loneliness

glinting among the glasses
as the last bar closes.


“You know
I’m yours

just for the taking

I’d gladly surrender

myself for you

body

&

soul.”
