For You, I'd Bleed Myself Dry Poem by Edith. E Lundstam

For You, I'd Bleed Myself Dry

Rating: 5.0

For you, I'd bleed myself dry
You sit there and complain while I try
I loved you so much
So that I'd skin myself for a single touch
I'd empty myself, throw away all that matters
But you don't even listen to the sound when my heart shatters
I gave you everything I had
But there's always something more to add
How can you sit there so uncaring?
While my many wounds are scaring
Sometimes I can't help but wonder why

For you, I bled myself dry
