Forced Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Forced

Forced

Not paying has own ways!

One way is the wealthy's
-tricks, lies, connections
-declaring bankruptcy
- (transfer to hiding)

Another is knife, gun
-invade and loot and run
- (showcase of king and shah
-or all-time-emperors until now…)

One more is minor-thefts
-shop lifting in fear
-or like it.

Hunger, need, are the worst
-worst indeed
-in open, facing shame
-demand is: "Needs tummy! "

None should leave the greed
-ignored and unnoticed…

The beggars on the roads
-homeless, panhandlers
-in, around the shelters
-and those at hospitals
-without beds in the halls
-must all be considered.

Some forced to pretend
-by limping, having pain;
-call or shout and end up
-with a right/wrong doctor.
-Mosquito in net of spider
-to go there, then go there
-till at last, truly broken!
-Of such I, know ladies
-now shattered, crawling…
