Forever Poem by Cameron Gallant

Forever

Talk about a perfect day
Just you and I alone as the wind ripples our hair
High on a cool spire of a mountain where our view is the world

That is my dowry
Although if you want more, I offer you infinite wealth and a carefree life

I know you questioned me at first
Fear
Fear is the greatest of demons
But do not worry

I offer you what children across the world conceive but never perceive
I offer you a chance

Take my hand, noble knight, and let us ride through the battle of life together
