Like the fragrance of the roses that line the aisle
And the sunlight scents that drift 'round the room for a while
And like the notes of the hymns that greet the bride
As she drifts like moonlight on water to her groom's side
Like the softly falling lily-white flowers
And the recessional beneath the velvet showers
And the way the groom looks down and smiles at her
And she smiles back because she is his and he is her's
Like the soaring of the western wand'ring sun
And how it paints the sky anew and makes the riv'rs golden run
And the way they go arm in arm, watch the light and sing
Beneath the heavens, and robed in joy, the evening's Queen and King
Like the undying beauty of that bright'st scene
And the splend'r of the bride's skirt of silver sheen
And the love that pools b'hind your eyes; you are mine
And I, my love, I am always and forever thine
