Forget It Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Forget It

Forget it

Went to seek treatment
So, spoke with doctor:
"Give me prescription! "

She spoke frankly:
"Break hands of clock
And never wear a watch;
Ignore past, what it was,
Take advice of Khayyam,
Tomorrow never comes."

She looked me in the eye,
And found me mesmerised
Took the words further to:
"Grab Moon and the Sun
Squeeze them in jar
Shake content very hard,
Make sure to mix them up;
Then pour them into cups
And drink once a while
When in pain, as you want."

Now, I was confused
Shook my head to news:
"What are these, give clue! "

Clever and smart
She read me via eyes;
Patiently, she went on:
"May believe in the books
Of the faiths and their God
Or Big-Bang as start…"

I watched with open mouth:
"That ends in ‘Black Hole'? "

She confirmed in smile:
"Yes, of course."

Conclusion, result:
"Forget all; live for now! "
